(prep your meals and NEVER go to the store while hungry AND ONLY get what's on your list for your meals for the week AND KEEP YOUR WEAKNESS OUT OF THE HOUSE ONLY have it once a week (or less) DO NOT deprive yourself, OR YOU WILL overeat it! (mine was Reese's Cups. I started ONLY getting a pack once a week, so I didn't have a bunch at the house to binge on. If I wanted it, I had to walk to the store, and I usually didn't do it.)  visualization, and feeling future emotions to drive actions toward health and fitness goals.  


2. **Personal Transformation** – I lost 250 lbs after overcoming childhood trauma, including rape, which led to self-destructive habits like overeating and drug use.  


3. **Self-Worth & Forgiveness** – Key to my weight loss was self-love, forgiving past abusers, and shedding emotional baggage tied to my trauma.  (SAME FOR YOU!) 


4. **Visual Aids to lose weight** – Using tools like Canva, I placed photos of my thinner self around my home and on my phone to stay motivated.  


5. **Celebrate Small Wins** – Rewarding milestones (e.g., buying a book or buying new clothes for every 5 lbs lost) and daily achievements (e.g., sticking to a meal plan) builds momentum.  


6. **Replace Unhealthy Habits** – I cut soda, reduced carbs, and swapped sugary snacks for healthier options like nuts and seeds (this helps with hydration.) 


7. **Movement & Emotion** – Exercise (e.g., walking, Richard Simmons workouts) releases feel-good hormones (oxytocin, endorphins) and improves mood.  


8. **Self-Accountability** – Since external validation is fleeting, she stresses celebrating yourself and setting personal rewards to stay committed.  


9. **Healthy Food = Better Mood** – Nutritious eating (e.g., salads, gluten-free options) boosts energy and self-esteem, reinforcing the mantra: *Nothing tastes as good as self-esteem feels.*
